What's the best knot to use to tie the strap of an oversize handbag?
I bought one of those over the shoulder hobo bags recently, and one end of the strap is firmly sewn onto the bag itself, where the other end of the strap ties to a set of rings on the other side of the bag. It has since come untied, and every knot I use keeps slipping out while I'm walking and it's driving me crazy. What would the best knot to tie the straps into the rings with that would be durable?
two overhand knots? you could tie it just to make it look pretty then sew the knot in place. then it couldn't come undone unless the thread broke, and that shouldn't happen
