The Pros and Cons of Micro Pave Engagement Rings
Just what the heck are pave rings? They are rings that are made with the illusion of a solid stone band. This special illusion is achieved through a stone setting that utilizes tiny little prongs to connect each stone to the band. So most of the stone is visible, rather than covered by the metal.
A type of pave ring that is very popular is pave engagement rings. They contain a big center stone, normally a princess cut or round cut stone. Those stones are less-than-brilliant, and are chosen because the brilliance of the pave band makes a brilliant center stone not necessary. So what is a micro pave engagement ring? They are of course pave rings, but they are called micro pave because of the tiny diamonds (or other stones)that are tightly assembled together to make the band look like a single glittery stone. Micro pave engagement rings often have 100 or more small stones.
Regular pave rings don't leave a heck of a lot of the band's metal visible, but micro pave rings show even less of the band because of how tightly the tiny gemstones fit together. A wider variety of detailed designs can be produced with micro pave rings because of the many ways in which tiny stones can be easily arranged. Bigger gemstones can fit in only a limited selection of positions.Consumers therefore have the luxury of choice when dealing with micro paves.
There are some disadvantages to owning micro pavement engagement rings. One disadvantage is that they are less durable than standard pave rings.. They might fall out with you noticing.Another potential disadvantage which depends on your aesthetic tastes is that the band may appear invisible, making the glittering gemstone band seem to narrow compared to the center stone. To some eyes this causes imbalance.
Flashy couples who like to show off may like this type of pave ring with all its glitter and glam. If you are a lover of attention then you might enjoy having people stare at what you're wearing. But some more conservative couples prefer more conservative rings that emphasize the center stone. If you are the conservative type then perhaps a standard pave ring is best for you. But for those who love glitter and glam, then micro pave engagement rings are probably a good choice.

A question about micro ring hair extensions (that I probably already know the answer to)?
I have everything I need... the hair, the pliers, the micro ring... but I went to Sally's to buy the latch hook and they were sold out til at least Friday! So I'm wondering if there is ANY possible way to apply the extensions without the latch hook? I can't think of a single way but I'm hoping by some miracle someone knows a way to do it. Thanks!
no your gonna need it. It will take forever without it. Buy one online that will last more than a week. I bought a nice aluminum one with three heads online at DO HAIR EXTENSIONS for like 10 bucks. It has lasted forever. Plus their micro links and copper tubes are a great deal.
