Boris Kodjoe cast as male lead in NBC's The Undercovers 2010 TV Series
Making a come back to the spy arena, J.J. Abrams has come up with a TV series, The Undercovers, which will premiere in 2010 on NBC. Initially NBC, ABC and CBS were all battling for this new spy drama that J.J. Abrams wrote with Josh Remis, until NBC nailed a deal with Warner Bros. TV and J.J. Abrams' Bad Robot. This deal marks J.J. Abrams' first association with NBC, where the series has the potential to join the spy/drama/comedy hit series Chuck, when Undercovers premieres in the fall of 2010.
The sci-fi drama "Fringe" was Abrams first project and he co-created it under his deal with WBTV. Fringe was also written on spec and went through a bidding war in 2007, before scoring a deal with Fox.
The co-writer for Undercovers, Josh Reims, started working with JJ Abrams on Abrams' WB Network series "Felicity". He was also an executive producer alongside Abrams on ABC's "What About Brian."
The Undercovers plot revolves around the lives of two spies, husband and wife, who are working together but get involved with the dangers of living a spy life. Not much else has been released as of yet but judging from the main character casting -- details below -- I get the feeling Abrams is going for the Spy Kids-esque look. The casting sides for the lead characters describe Samanta and Steven as a good looking, sharp-minded, married spy couple living the spy life. There is also the elderly character Carlton Shaw, who is supposed to have a "powerful presence" and be sarcastic. Uncle Felix Gumm anyone? As if that wasn't enough, there are two young casting sides for a Lizzy and Bill, who for all we know could be the next Carmen and Juni Cortez.
Star of Soul Food and having starred in projects like Nip/Tuck and Surrogates, Boris Kodjoe landed the male lead character role in The Undercovers, where he wil play the role of Steven, the husband in the show's main character couple. His wife Samantha is yet to be cast.
"I think the fun of this new show is that it is lighter and comedic in terms of a sweeter approach. It is not an out and out comedy necessarily but it is combining a genre that I love with an attitude and a tone that I have not seen before. So that will be at least a fun experiment." - J.J. Abrams says of his new TV Series, Undercovers.
Abrams will be directing the opening episode of "Undercovers", which will be the first episode he has directed since 2004's "Lost" opener, which is considered to be one of the best-directed pilots of all time and it also helped Abrams launch his career into directing films such as Star Trek and Mission Impossible 3.

my "high school look"?
alright so im going to be a freshman and i REALLY cant decide what to wear. i wanna change up my style A TON. so im getting hair extensions remy ones that are really expensive but i think they will look good (anyone tell me if youve used them before) and im getting my nails done, and i dyed my hair but i just feel like its not enough. i want my first day outfit to be flat out amazing. im obsessed with the way lauren conrad dresses and i would really like to have some sort of outfit with big sunglasses and a large purse not jeans because its going to be really hot outside, but i just want to look amazing. suggestions please. major points for more then one outfit with the place i can get it from (no expensive shit, or those outfit websites that dont show where you actually get the clothes) oh and please no classic hollister outfits, i want to stand out not blend in.
you should try going to heritage 1981 because they have very cute bohemian clothes. you can get a cute hippie dress. also gladiator sandals are wonderful loooove those. you could wear this outfit with the big sunglasses and an oversized brown purse. you really don't have to try as hard with your apperance. getting your hair and nails done super nice really is no big deal. i'm going to be a senior and if i saw a freshman like that, i would pretty much think they were a tool. hahah. don't try too hard, everyone will like you just the way you are
