How many basic ways of tying pashmina scarf, shawl or stole?
There are five basic ways of wearing or tying a pashmina scarf, shawl or stole.
Belt style
One is called the belt style or the sarong, which is recommended for people with no hips. It's easy to do it: just wrap the shawl around your waist, drape it nicely and you are good to go.
Hollywood style
The second is called the Hollywood style. A unique and stylish look, this style requires two different pashminas, usually of varying colors. As most Hollywood celebrities are wont to do, these two pashminas are intertwined and draped around the neck. Indeed, if one pashmina shawl is already great, then two must be twice as fabulous.
Full shawl wrap
The third way to wear a pashmina is called the full shawl wrap. It's perhaps the simplest way to war a pashmina. Just wrap around the shoulders and you're all set. This will keep you looking simple yet fashionable at the same time. It'll keep you warm, too, so this is perfect for chilly nights or walking through the morning breeze.
Pashmina stole
Another way to wear the pashmina is called the pashmina stole, which is recommended for people out on a night out in a snazzy evening wear. Beaded pashminas usually do the trick for this particular style.
Noose wrap
Finally there's the noose wrap, which is really not as complicated - or grim! - as it sounds. The first thing to do is to fold your shawl in half along the length. Make sure the folded edge is facing you. Once it's folded, fold it in half yet again, but this time, fold the pashmina along its width. By now you should have an end that's folded and an end that's still open. Place the folded shawl behind your head, tie the pashmina pull the open end through the loop of the folded end and that's it!
